The National Museum of Art brings the main artists from Mozambique, especially the Masters Rafael Shikani, Malangatana Nguenya, Samate Mulungo, Alberto Chissano, Reinata, Chichorro, Bertina Lopes.

This museum offers a small collection of art worth checking out. It does not take more than a half hour to see the entire exhibit on both levels. The work spanned media sources from traditional wood sculptures to paintings to mixed media collages. Much of the work had a \"dark\" feeling. It is understandable, as it is an expression of some dark times people have faced. Other pieces, are naturally more colorful. This museum is not necessarily a \"must see\" but it surely is worth a quick visit!
